Abi is 9 year old 4th grader from Marion Arkansas. Abi wants to be a teacher or singer when she grows up. Abi loves to sing, even when she’s not feeling too great from her cancer treatments.
Abi was diagnosed with a rare form of bone caner called Ewing Sarcoma. This type of cancer only accounts for 1% of childhood cancer diagnoses each year. The survival rate is 30%. Because Abi and her family live in close proximity to Memphis, TN. She’s receiving treatment at the renowned St Jude's Children's hospital.
As you might imagine, having a child in a fight against a rare form of cancer can create a strain emotionally and financially on the family who is in the fight against cancer with their child. During Abi's fight against cancer, her mother Jamie has taken a leave of absence from her job to see her daughter through her treatments and take her to St Jude's daily to attend special school for cancer kids. “Fight On” funds will be donated to Abi’s family for general monthly expenses like groceries, utility and electric bills.
